Tenor David Gordon is a singer, actor, director, and educator. He has appeared with Octavia Cup Dance Theatre, Hawaii Opera Theater (The Tales of Hoffmann), New Rochelle Opera (Die Fledermaus, The Merry Widow, Turandot, Il Trovatore, Carmen), the Center for Contemporary Opera (A Death in the Family, Outcast at the Gates, Hester, Alice in Wonderland, Fallen Angel), the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra (Otello). David has directed for Ramapo College of New Jersey, Under St. Marks Theatre, MSM Precollege, Pied Piper Children’s Theater. He is a founding Tenor and current Chair of the Board of Directors of Opera on Tap and a Curator of the OOT New Brew new music collective. David teaches Voice, Opera Workshop, Acting and Chamber Music for the Precollege Division at Manhattan School of Music.
